Synopsis:
India’s top agent Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) commands the R&AW’s elite Shadow Unit, a close-knit group of the armed forces’ elite that he personally trains and works with him on various high-risk missions around the globe. Among Kabir and Colonel Luthra’s main targets is international arms lord Rizwan Ilyasi, who has played a key role in various terrorist attacks against the country.
Khalid (Tiger Shroff) has worked his way up the ranks of the Indian Armed Forces. His greatest challenge and struggle was to fight the sins of his father, a once decorated soldier who worked with Kabir, who turns out to be a traitor. His goal was to join Kabir’s team in order to remove all stains from her name.Kabir is uninterested in her past, but Colonel Luthra questions him, and little by little Kabir is impressed by Khalid’s immense dedication and determination. Khalid becomes Kabir’s greatest soldier of all time, and repeatedly flirts with death as they pursue the country’s enemies, including a mission against Rizwan Ilyasi that nearly killed Khalid.
But Khalid’s greatest and toughest mission is yet to come. When his own mentor, Kabir, becomes a rebel and begins to persecute, attack and brutally execute high-ranking officials, scientists and officers in India’s establishment around the world.
Colonel Luthra is unsure if Khalid has the courage to pursue Kabir.Is he smart enough to track down the man who trained him, and even if he is, does he have the guts to put a bullet in his hero’s head? Luthra advises Khalid against the mission, but Khalid insists: he is the best protégé and the only one who can find the mentor. And only Kabir can answer the crucial question: Why did he become a villain?
A gruesome game of cat and mouse ensues as a protégé pursues his mentor in a war that spans the world. As the chase unfolds, Kabir and Khalid finally begin to understand what desperate challenges are really driving them into this horrific war.
